This spring I am leading a mural project that will look at exploring the intersection of art, science and the connection between uCitysquare, Philadelhpia’s research and innovation district, and the surrounding West Philadelphia community. Two murals will highlight stories about how people have connected with art and science in their lives and pathways to creative and innovative success. The artists are Melinda Beck, a widely published illustrator from New York, and Oluwafemi, a dynamic sound artist and graphic artist from Philadelphia.
