McKinney’s Public Art Master plan was approved by unanimous vote on Tuesday evening. The plan will bring murals to the alleyways in Downtown McKinney and bring sculptures throughout McKinney. Todd Bressi assisted lead consultant Via Partnership in developing the plan.

Councilman Ray Ricchi declared his support for the public art plan and commended the McKinney Arts Commission on their efforts in preparing the public art plan.

“I support this wholeheartedly,” Ricchi said. “I think we’re well on our way. Outstanding job.”
